Nassau County Museum of Art - One Museum Dr, Roslyn, NY 11576
This renowned art museum that sits on the former Frick "Clayton" estate should be at the top of your to-do list. There are stunning indoor exhibits and beautiful outdoor sculpture gardens across this 145-acre property. Admission is $15 for adults, $5 for children under 5, and free for children under 4. Unlimited free admission is available for museum members.  The mansion is open Tuesday - Sunday until 4:45 pm and the Arboretum is open daily until dusk. The Heckscher Museum of Art - 2 Prime Ave, Huntington, NY 11743
The Heckscher Museum of Art has some great exhibits planned for this year. "Long Island's Best Young Artists" show runs from March 23 through May 5 and features the work of high school students across Long island. "The Rains Are Changing Fast" runs from March 23 through September 1 and showcases landscapes and social issues. The museum is open Thursday through Sunday from 12 to 5 pm. The Argyle Theatre - 34 W Main St, Babylon, NY 11702
Long Island's newest theater opened in 2018 — The Argyle Theatre offers state-of-the-art lighting, an orchestra pit, a high-quality sound system, a full-service bar, and a spectacular line-up of performances throughout the 2023-2024 season. In addition to Mary Poppins, Bye Bye Birdie, and other theatrical classics, the theater also hosts comedy acts, live music, and other performances.


Patchogue Theatre - 71 E Main St, Patchogue, NY 11772
For over 100 years, the Patchogue Theatre has served as a main street venue hosting films, performances, and live music. Today, it has 1,106 total seats (the largest in Suffolk County) and hosts a wide range of live entertainment, including live bands, stand-up comedy, plays, and musicals. The theater is comfortable and is now equipped with high-tech light and sound systems. If you'd like to grab drinks or dinner before the show, there are several good bars and restaurants nearby.


The Next Chapter - 204 New York Ave, Huntington, NY 11743
Few businesses encompass a community's culture like an independent bookstore, and Long Island has one of the best. The Next Chapter is a Kickstarter-enabled bookstore and gathering space fully funded by people across the community. It's stocked with new, used, and rare books as well as records, art, and handmade gifts. The store hosts numerous community events throughout the year, including book clubs and craft sessions.
